Send me your adventurous, thrilling romances (especially LGBTQIA+). I love an HEA and strong well-developed characters.

Melissa Edwards @MelissaLaurenE · Mar 31

Last night at dinner we were discussing the idea of a MG book about a transgender child approaching a bar/bat mitzvah (or another religious gendered ceremony), one million percent #MSWL

Julia McCarthy @thejumbles · Mar 27

Hello hello, I am very much seeking a YA novel like Darius the Great Is Not Okay that centers on queer WoC #MSWL

Jennifer A. Grimaldi @JA_Grimaldi · Mar 26

F/F devil wears prada-inspired enemies-to-lovers romcom PLEASE dear GOD, I DREAM about this. #mswl

Linda Epstein @LindaEpstein · Mar 19

When I open in April, as always, I encourage #ownvoices submissions of YA and MG by #POC and #LGBTQ+ I will not be open to picture book submissions. #MSWL

Agent V @VeroniKaboom · Mar 12

Still waiting for my f/f romcom based in the world of elite gymnastics, and/or at the college level, so like Stick It but gay. Please, and thank you. #MSWL

Thao Le @ThaoLe8 · Mar 12

I'm preparing to reopen to queries next week and wanted to share my current #mswl:

Contemporary Fantasy in the vein of the films About Time and Your Name
Diverse MG like Aru Shah and the End of Time and Amina’s Voice
Foodie Magic like Chocolat and Garden Spells
LGBTQ Retellings

Linda Epstein @LindaEpstein · Mar 11

So if someone has a feminist YA Purim retelling or a queer Vashti/Esther story (must be YA), definitely send it to me! Doesn't matter that I'm closed to queries right now. I want to see it! Submission guidelines are here: emeraldcityliterary.com/lindaepstein/ #MSWL #amwriting #WritingCommunity

Rebecca Podos @RebeccaPodos · Mar 11

Hear me out: A Hamilton and Eliza retelling, but f/f. A revolutionary and a debutante fall in love—possibly in space—and it's complicated. #MSWL

Kat Kerr @thekatsmews · Mar 9

Also with nonfiction, I am on the lookout for stories that raise awareness regarding social issues, particularly in the area of LGBTQIA+ rights and undoc. immigrants/dreamers. These are two issues very close to my heart and I will fight tooth and nail to advocate for them. #mswl

P.S. Literary Agency @PSLiterary · Mar 6

"Very hungry to work on more LGBTQ+ YA novels and diverse, inclusive reads. I'd also love to see more YA non-fiction hit my inbox." @ericsmithrocks #MSWL ericsmithrocks.com/mswl

Amy M. Miller @AmyMMiller1

@inthesestones I see you're open to picture books. Yay! Do you have PB preferences you can share? Your MSWL is detailed for MG and YA, but not PBs. Thanks so much.

This is hard—I'm still figuring out what really trips my trigger. #AntiMSWL, no rhyming books. On the #MSWL side: I love message-centric that don't come across as preachy. Laugh-out-loud funny is always a want. I'd kill for my own JACK (NOT JACKIE) or something with LGBT-themes!

Samantha Wekstein @SWekstein · Mar 4

Another #MSWL today! A YA sex comedy like American Pie, but with a female and/or LGBTQ friend group.
