#MSWL - #YA: Either set in the 1950s or the 1970s/1980s: a historical YA that deals with being queer in a time period where it wasn't safe to be out of the closet. Deal with the tough subjects and please break me before I get to the end.

I desperately want more LGBTQ+ characters and themes in horror. Give me LGBTQ+ protagonists grappling with gender and sexuality while also dealing with monsters/ghosts/murderers/etc. #MSWL

Oo! And what about a YA (Or adult, really) where it's f/f and they're forced to work on a painting together to win scholarship money or startup money. But they hate each other and then end up having a paint fight 😍 enemies to lovers! #MSWL

Definitely always on the lookout for contemporary. I want all the feels, the angst. In YA, I really want mental health focus on LGBTQ+. DEFF want LGBTQ+ middle grade crushes! GIMME! #MSWL

Hell yes if those historicals are feminist, LGBTQ+, POC. Definitely interested in non-American and non-UK settings. #MSWL
