Romance! Happy to consider any and all queer and BIPOC stories, would especially love a cozy fantasy with romance, a horror romance, something speculative/five minutes in the future.

Anything that can be comped to Talia Hibbert, Helen Hoang, Emily Henry, etc. #MSWL

-Adventure and/or heist roms (the more bonkers, the better)
-Contemporary romance/rom coms (though it needs to have a strong voice and strong hook)

#MSWL Definitely in my nostalgia era: would love to see fun teen spy/heist/secret society books like I read ten years ago! I *adored* Ally Carter's lively plotlines and would love to see new takes with similar levels of fun/adventure, especially from BIPOC and queer authors!

And, on that note: I open to queries on Monday, July 1. I feel like I should update my #mswl accordingly, but be prepared, it's a mish mash:

1) Romances with BIPOC, queer and disabled leads. I'm dying for joyful books that touch on real world challenges without dwelling.

First I want to reaffirm what I'm about. I'm OBSESSED with my clients and their writing. I want more than anything for them & their books to succeed. That is my job.

I not only support but celebrate ALL authors, and especially BIPOC, disabled, neurodiverse, queer & trans authors

I’m looking for female-driven/LGBTQIA+/BIPOC-driven thrillers, especially if they’re messy, messy characters. I love a good ensemble cast and odd dynamics. Do you have a DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES / REAL HOUSEWIVES-esque thriller. #amquerying

#MSWL I’d love to see some YA, NA, or Adult projects set on the set of a non-U.S. TV show/movie!

Probably not reality show based (unless the show has a an all BIPOC cast) so more that the set is just the setting w/the heart of the story elsewhere.
