New #mswl: mysteries a lá #ONLYMUDERSINTHEBUILDING. I spent the weekend binging it and am obsessed. I love mismatched strangers coming together to solve a crime, the limited setting of the apartment building, the secretssss, & the comedic approach to crime fiction. GIMMEE MOREE
#MSWL My narrative non-fiction taste is like obscenity: I know it when I see it. Always have an eye out for pop culture, wilderness and adventure stories, pop psychology, investigative crime nonfiction. If you have the next WE KEEP THE DEAD CLOSE, I want it and I need it.
Always a quick way to my heart in any form are dogs, desserts, and true crime. And a few recent favorite “for fun” reads have been Mexican Gothic, Malibu Rising, The Other Black Girl, Luck of the Titanic, Solutions and Other Problems, and Finlay Donovan Is Killing It.
Hannah @PalindromeToddI can now say that I am DELIGHTED to be working as a literary agent at the @MMLitAgency! I am actively acquiring commercial adult fiction with digital potential. From romances to crime and most things in between, I'd love to read your work! Details below
In non-fiction, I’m looking for big ideas, smart thinking, anything which interrogates a particular subject or idea with a fresh perspective. And always on the lookout for gripping and authentic true crime #mswl
I’m fascinated with folklore, fables, fairy-tales, mythology – anything which works these elements into its narrative will definitely grab my attention, whether that’s in the crime/thriller, historical or literary space #mswl
I’m keen for all kinds of crime and thrillers, from police procedurals to psychological thrillers to anything high-concept with a big hook. I read very widely in this area so open to almost anything, whether commercial or more literary #mswl
The Blair Partnership @TBP_agencyHi. This is Jordan, sharing my #mswl. Please do send me anything which feels like a good fit! theblairpartnership.com/literary-submi…
At the moment I’m looking for crime and thrillers, book club fiction, historical fiction, literary fiction, true crime and non-fiction written by journalists or experts in their respective fields #mswl
Specifically, I'd love some regional crime or some small-town mysteries. I'd also love to see some diversity in my detectives (and as much as I love police procedural, I'd also be keen to read some non-police detective characters!) #mswl
The Blair Partnership @TBP_agencyHello Twitter! It's @hatteatime here and as promised I'm going to be sharing my #mswl with you today. If you have something that fits my wishlist, submission guidelines are here: theblairpartnership.com/literary-submi…
In general I am looking for contemporary commercial fiction, crime fiction, historical fiction and some up-market/book-club fiction. #mswl
✅ #Thriller & Suspense #MSWL
Any, especially caper, cozies, conspiracy theories, disaster, bumbling detective, revenge, investigative, softboiled, heist, suspense, mystery, crime, thriller, spy, psychological, historical, howdunit, whodunit, and romantic thrillers.
emmy, purveyor of spines @emmy_of_spines1/ Pals, I was raised on late 90's/early 00's crime dramas. So many of these stories are how-the-mighty-fall type stories... marginalized victims getting justice or vengeance while privileged oppressive folks get their come uppance. BUT
2/...they are also big time copaganda. If you are writing crime stories that will appeal to my sense of nostalgia AND have progressive politics, I want to see them Very Much! #MSWL
If it does exist—please send me a book that is CHUCK meets JANE THE VIRGIN. That would be wonderful!!
I’ve been binge watching Chuck and I’d love to see a book version with telenovela elements mixed in there. Crime, intersect, & messy love 🥰
Please and thank you👀 #MSWL
