"Doppelgangers in dramatic women's fiction. Send me something interesting, give me characters with depth, with something to lose, and with something to fight for. Send me something I've never seen before." @readbystephanie #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

Overall, I want complex relationships, nuanced characters, & smartly plotted novels. A huge plus: a strong sense of place that adds complexity to the story - I don't want just another NYC book! #MSWL #Mystery #Thriller #FamilySaga #WomensFiction #WomenWriters #Speculative

I read a ton of mystery/thriller/suspense submissions as well as women's fiction & I find that I've become increasingly disappointed when the love interest pops in and it's not a LGBTQ character. Where are my LGBTQ characters? #MSWL

Hey Black romance and women's fiction writers: I'd love to see your take on a Hot Girl Summer book. #MSWL

"I'm always in the mood for smart women's fiction that reinvents the wheel on Jane Austen. Historical like LONGBOURN or modern like THE LIZZIE BENNET DIARIES." @readbystephanie #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

Ann Leslie Tuttle @AnnLeslieTuttle · Jun 25

#MSWL Would love to find women's fiction, thrillers and Middle Grade submissions that incorporate popular science and STEM themes. Love richly evocative stories that have a strong sense of the natural world.

You know what I don't have enough on my list? Dog fiction. Preferably not from the dog's POV, but a book in which a dog plays a prominent role in the protagonist's life--#WF #S or other #MSWL

The other day I was asked to promise that when a friend got in her 90s I would make sure she got a glass of wine every day. This book #MSWL -- #WF or #S about a woman who makes a promise & now she must keep it.

I’m still waiting on a #metoo book — suspense, women’s fiction... #MSWL And, as always, my genres are women’s fiction, suspense, mystery, upmarket, literary, nonfiction. I’m sure I missed something. 😉

Kristy Hunter @KristySHunter · Jun 14

Also I’ve seen some wonderful millennial fiction projects lately just bursting with humor and heart—please keep sending those my way! #mswl #a #f #wf

#amquerying authors, I am all caught up on queries except for 6 I'm still mulling over and hungry for new works. Send me all the contemporary MG, fresh YA (no more fantasy revolving around a monarchy i beg you), and HEA women's fiction / romance. #MSWL

Jessica Faust @BookEndsJessica · Jun 8

Reading moods also inform my #MSWL Current mood—fun women’s fiction.

Kristy Hunter @KristySHunter · May 20

Keep sending those women's fiction projects and rom-coms my way! Looking for high concept & a great voice. #MSWL #WF #A

Laura Crockett @LECrockett · May 19

Met @kristywharvey today at my library and she signed all three of my books! Agents can be fangirls too 😉

Y’all, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love contemporary women’s fiction. If you can write sisters like Kristy, send it my way! #mswl

So.. I've been in #Poland for the last few weeks. Needless to say, I'm updating my #mswl. Please send me all of your royal Polish family stories (YA history, YA fantasy), stories based on Polish mythology (YA) and historical women's fiction. Who's writing about queen #jadwiga?
