Manuscript Academy @MSWLMANew podcast alert with agent Jess Dallow, agent at Brower Literary & Management. We chat Sweet Valley High + psychopaths + all things publishing. ☕️📝😀soundcloud.com/user-965795498…
Find out what career I’d want if publishing didn’t exist, the most honest parts of Younger, and the kinds of books I crave.
And thank you to the wonderful @jsinsheim and @juliekingsley at @MSWLMA for the opportunity to talk about all my loves. #MSWL
Tia Rose Mele @TiatheTigeranother #mswl: nonfiction about Fandom Culture. I scream into the void about toxic fandom, but i'm up for a positive fandom book too. It's just so interesting to me!
Ahhhhh, YES. I would love this so much. I'm not one for anime or comics; I want mainstream. I've been involved in 3 fandoms throughout different periods of my life & there is a ton to delve into. (Like how many people have gotten into relationships? Or just the culture) #MSWL
Hannah Allaman @hallaman13SEND ME YOUR FRIENDSHIP BREAKUP BOOKS. Middle school, high school, even (dare I say) early college! In my own life, friendship breakups have always been so much more significant/traumatic than the romantic ones. Would love to see it in my inbox! #MSWL pic.twitter.com/wTHruL3Dm7
Yes, please. Always on the hunt for this. Especially early college. I had one of the worst friendship breakups my freshman year with someone who had been my BFF throughout HS. It’s been 18 years (lolololol) and I still think of it. #MSWL
#MSWL: On the hunt for some non-fiction! I'm a huge fan of pop culture (I worked with actors for 8 years and am an avid television fan), true crime (no mobs or cartels), and books about mental health (I recently read On Edge: A Journey Through Anxiety which I related to A LOT).
Jim McCarthy @JimMcCarthy528Speaking of conferences, why has no one written a novel about someone getting murdered at a mystery writers' convention where EVERYone thinks they're the person who can figure out whodunit? #mswl
I would kill for this. #MSWL
Jess Dallow @jldallowI’ve mentioned this before and it’s so specific, but I’m dying for a romcom that takes place at sleepaway camp. I’m talking a classic east coast sleepaway camp: 8 weeks, theater shows, color war themes, rival counselors, boating, late night swims...
local bars (if it’s counselors), dances, art, intramurals, mess hall. Take me back, please! #MSWL
Valerie 🎄🤶🏻 @ValeeGrrlwhile tucking in my son he casually told me he lived a life a long time ago where his name was Gerald and he had a brother Cole who was also his business partner and they died together in a car crash so plz join me in not sleeping at all tonight lol
This whole thread is my #MSWL.

I have been waiting for this!!! So excited to see what Netflix and crew does with this story. (Also, please note this is 100% on my #MSWL)
Grace Kendall @GraceKendallLitFor any of you who have a Teen-Girl-Becomes-Serial-Killer-Who-Targets-Misogynists-with-Overwhelming-Success manuscript sitting on your hard drive, have your agent submit it to me in the morning, please and thank you. #mswl
And for those of you who have written this and need an agent, please submit to me!! #MSWL
Jenny Bent @jennybentI loved domestic suspense before it was a trend and will love it after it fades from such intense popularity. Would love to see more in my inbox by POC authors though.
I couldn't agree with this more. Always on the #MSWL
Bess Cozby @besscozbyI watched "The Blair Witch Project" this weekend, and am real proud of myself for sleeping afterward.
It makes me want to read a YA horror in that vein, where your imagination makes everything worse. Urban legends. Haunted woods. Someone make me afraid to sleep, please.
Yes, please! #MSWL
