Graphic Novels

Matt Belford @MWBelford · 3d

And now’s a good a time as any to talk about my #MSWL !

I’m looking for adult SciFi and Fantasy stories—bring me into your worlds! I’m also open to any graphic works: graphic memoirs, graphic novels, or other graphic nonfiction.

I’m open to queries, so bring it on!

#MSWL Popping in to say that I want an MG or graphic novel as unapologetically weird and black as #kipoandtheageofthewonderbeasts Kthxbai

When I open up to queries next month, I'd love to see more #kidlit stories that tackle climate change and feature real, innovative solutions. Ideally nonfiction but open to fiction as well. Bonus points if it's a graphic novel. #mswl

As always, you can use this link to see past #MSWL from me:…

because I couldn't fit everything (like Spice Girls friendship breakup book) on the graphic.

So it's 2020 and I need more books so #MSWL

These are some of my top needs (from the graphic):
-MG and YA graphic novels
-Mermaids. *I know what I want so I will know when I see it*
-Elegant Horror. (what does this mean, Natascha? Think THE GRACE YEAR, THE HAZELWOOD, WILDER GIRLS) #MSWL

- Middle grade! Give me camp & give me swimming & give me queerness, please!
- Not-for-everyone level weird/spec YA
- Can't-put-down voices
- Graphic novels! All ages, all genres, all above mswls apply to this format, too!

Graphic novels in the vein of Smile by creators of color. Scripts are welcome, so are author/illustrators! #mswl

Misc. wants:
- Artist and Illustrators for picture books and graphic novels.
- Tarot card proposal.
- Middle Grade and YA nonfiction by underrepresented authors and spirituality.

Tara is open to queries. 🔮✨ @Literary_Tara · Jan 6

For Middle Grade, I am desperate for:
- Horror that would even make adults squirm.
- Themes with puzzles and riddles.
- Group of kids going on adventures in their hometown.
- Graphic novels (in YA too)!

🎉I'm OPEN for queries!!!🎉
So it's time for a fresh #mswl thread.

For Young Adult, I am really craving the following:
- Fun Historicals like A LADY'S GUIDE
- Best friend stories/platonic love stories.
- Contemporaries that make me cry.
- A YA Killing Eve!
- Stories for young YA (14 and 15-year-olds).
- As always diverse voices.

* Middle grade and YA fiction & graphic novels from perspectives that often feel left out of publishing, including LGBTQIA themes. Especially if they are:

* Funny! Heartfelt! Adventures! All of the above! Basically, I LOVE middle grade and YA fiction and graphic novels!
