My top two #mswl wishlist items for 2026 are:
- an exciting adult mystery or thriller with something to say. Something that feels like Alyssa Cole's WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING or
kellyekell.bsky.social's MISSING WHITE WOMAN
- mg or ya set in Appalachia by someone from there. Especially with 🏳️‍🌈 or ♿️ rep

#mswl I adore will-they-won't-they romance, slow burn, established pairings, and more. I'm open to all YA graphic novels including romcom, but for prose I'm strictly open to children's fantasy, spy, and heist, not contemporary romance. It was listed in error on querytracker, now fixed.

While I'm open to all MG and YA fantasy I'm especially craving second-world, epic fantasy adventures. Lately I've been devouring the Alanna books by Tamora Pierce. Send me stories with unusual crafting trades and competent protagonists.

#MSWL A YA or NA historical romance with a swoony love story and a strong hook in a setting that feels different. While regency England can be fun, I’d love something that hasn’t been done before. Bonus if it’s an LGBTQIA historical romance.
