Wanted: Commercial Fiction
Psychological Horror, Mind-twisting Thriller, Millennial Cozy Mystery, Feminist Historical.

-I'm still looking for a fantasy or science fiction with a murder mystery plot. Should be more traditional or cozy mystery rather than a dark, crime mystery. Something light and fun with a speculative fiction setting or element.

I would love to see some mysteries, especially whodunits and cozies! If you have a fresh take on the genre please send it my way. Some recent ones I’ve enjoyed are the SUSAN RYELAND series by Anthony Horowitz and HOW TO SOLVE YOUR OWN MURDER by Kristen Perrin #MSWL

Since it's still January, time for an updated 2024 #MSWL ! I'm currently really on the lookout for psychological thriller (a la Riley Sager), mysteries (cozy and whodunnits please), and light horror (nothing too gory, I want to sleep at night). Dark academia a plus as well!

For cozy mysteries, I’m usually looking for a bookstore or tea shop setting, or other general cozy feels here. I like to see a well rounded community that feels every bit a part of the story as the protagonist.

I acquire a few genres between our two imprints, but to break it down:
