I read a lot of popular science books.Authorship of science nonfiction has a serious diversity problem.
Are you a woman and/or POC and/or LGBTQIA+ individual who loves STEM?
WRITE A BOOK. DO IT. PLEASE.
I will do my best to keep up with reviewing and sharing them! 📚🔬
#MSWL I really want to see nonfiction popular science book proposals by authors from underrepresented groups in my inbox!

I wrote about the co-optation of Hot Girl Summer. "If you don’t support Black women, give them access, and make them feel seen in the products you’re peddling, then you shouldn’t adopt their intraracial phrases to line your pockets." bitchmedia.org/article/brands…Which is why in my previous call for women's fiction or romance manuscripts that are inspired by Hot Girl Summer, I specifically asked to see work by Black women writers.👇🏽 #MSWL

I hope that the biggest takeaway from yesterday in Romancelandia is that romance readers are clearly well-versed in the diversity of the Regency, are excited to see more of it, and trad pubs should be acquiring diverse historicals written by POC/marginalized authors. This is my evergreen #MSWL

Happy Monday, everyone! Today is brought to you by the letter "M" so I figured, why not do some #MSWL! (See, what I did there? Yeah, no one ever said I was cool.)So, if you have a MS that matches something I'm looking for, please query me! I'd love to see it in my inbox.
When it comes to literary, I actively search for #ownvoices works, but especially those from the POC, immigrant, and LGBTQ+ communities. I'm not really looking for Americana stories right now. Nothing wrong with being the next John Steinbeck, it just wouldn't be for me. #mswl
