For a long time now I've been looking for a contemporary romance in which an only child/lonely person is welcomed into a huge, sprawling, loving family. Think While You Were Sleeping. (We're looking now for romances for 2020's holiday season, hint hint.) #MSWL

i'm a sucker for a good family story, a good friendship story, and of course some good romance, too, but it's okay if that's not front and center. i didn't date until i was in college, so i know there's more to being a teen than romance! #MSWL

This is a huge ask, but something I think about often: 100 Years of Solitude, but about a family from a marginalized community in the South. A multi-generational saga with magic realism. (Who knows; someone might be writing this!) #MSWL
