#MSWL. Looking for romantic comedies and women's fiction that is Up Lit and deals with female relationships and family secrets. I also enjoy historical fiction. Would also love to find some Middle Grade. And I love stories set in the South and Southern Gothics.

Sympathetic psychopaths, cult-y fiction, campus novels of all stripes, books tied to an unfamiliar professional world (ballet/restaurants/sports), upmarket #metoo novels, political conversation starters (a la American Marriage or The Mothers), a romcom with a fresh hook... #mswl...epic family novels, Eligible-esque retellings of classic stories! And more to come... #mswl

"Literary fiction that takes you into small worlds and communities where I'm an outsider. A glimpse inside a complex family, or a workplace." @ericsmithrocks #MSWL ericsmithrocks.com/mswl

On a whim I decided to watch this movie on Netflix called Ramen Shop and it's an amazing story about culture, family, love, and (of course) food.
Now I'd like a YA or MG story that explores the bonds of family and culture (especially a blended one) through food! #mswl

Always on my #mswl - stories about figuring out how family informs identity -- the good and the bad. This is something I love about THE LAST TRUE POETS OF THE SEA by @JuliaDrake__ (out 10/1!): it so artfully explores the tension between family & individual identity.
