Rom-com set in a restaurant but not like a fancy one. A place where they have to wear horrible uniforms (with pieces of flair), and sing terrible birthday songs, and there's tons of back of the house hijinks #MSWL

I love novels (MG, YA, adult any genre) that are mostly in our world but have a single magical component that changes everything. #MSWL

I want the next Losers Club fighting evil together, but female-centric and huge bonus points for two of the girls falling head-over-heels for each other #MSWL

Also really craving a beautiful Historical Fantasy with worldbuilding as solid as Carnival Row (but without Fae). Gotta have that captivating voice and I'd love to see some court intrigue thrown in there #MSWL

I'm also often drawn to books with strong water elements. Moody lighthouse keepers! Sleepy coastal towns! Ship captains! Merpeople! If there's lots of fog and salt air, I'm likely to be intrigued. (This goes for both romance and mystery.) #MSWL

I love ghosts. I especially love ghosts in novels who can do just about anything living people can do, who just happen to not be currently, well, alive. #MSWL

#MSWL Lady Spies who use traditionally feminine skills (like knitting, or embroidery) to convey messages to their fellow spies. And bonus points, make it fantasy.

Agent twin strikes again! Original fairytales for the WIN #MSWL

MG or YA NF from a scientist, doctor, engineer, etc. translating all your coolest research into something that will give young readers a leg up on saving our ship and assure them there are adults fighting the good fight right now #MSWL

Oh, and very big on my #mswl as I await cooler weather: YA and MG that feels somehow autumnal! Give me book-form crispy leaves and spiced cider (spiked or not), please. I love good, cozy stories.
