#MSWL: #ownvoices #MG or #YA protagonists with chronic illness, pain, and/or a disability in a story not focused on that, and where no one dies--it's just a part of life. This kind of rep is important to me & I rarely see it in subs or published books. If you have this, send it to me and I will send it to Molly! This is a really important kind of representation for me. I'm open to both fiction and non-fiction! #mswl #invisibleillness

#nonfiction: Pop Culture. I worked in entertainment for 8 years and it will always have a huge piece of my heart. Especially looking for something about TV. (History of a TV show, behind the scenes...) But hit me with your PC books. #MSWL

I still want books that focus on internet culture, fiction and nonfiction. #MSWL
#MSWL Smart and sexy rom-coms (I want to laugh and fall in love!), epic family dramas, gritty and contemporary YA, true crime that reads like a suspense novel, anything food related (f and nf), pop science and history

I'm always looking for culturally relevant stories that won't be out of date five years from now. In other words, focus on the social issue, not the specific people involved. This goes for fiction and nonfiction. #MSWL

I loved Hallie Rubenhold's THE FIVE. It was so deeply researched and written with such empathy. It's a great example of the kind of narrative nonfiction I love, though I also like more modern narrative nonfiction like THE SHORT AND TRAGIC LIFE OF ROBERT PEACE. #MSWL

#MSWL for PBs here: narrative non-fiction, that is NOT biographies. Think SKULLS by Blair Thornburgh, or PEOPLE DON'T BITE PEOPLE by Lisa Wheeler. Give me interesting perspectives and facts and knowledge!
