I'd also love to see proposals that tackle the very real problems young people face today - like school debt, stresses of modern parenting, and challenges of finding meaningful relationships #MSWL #nonfiction #personalfinance #studentloans #relationship #parenting

I'm a huge foodie - so I'd love a unique cookbook, foodie memoir, or exploration into the origins of a cuisine. "Hungry" for these! #MSWL #Cookbook #nonfiction #memoir

#MSWL - now actively seeking #nonfiction that is hopeful and inspiring. Send me your social justice titles, books that elevate and celebrate women and diverse people, and books that aim to improve our society and help our #environment

#mswl - books that emphasize the bridge between science and the arts; I went through a phase years ago where I read a lot of books on the history of math; NF pbs that are written using a super engaging hook or concept

Tracy WANTS A NAP Marchini @TracyMarchini · May 31

#mswl - amazing stories about what human, animal or plant bodies can do (e.g. more like on a cellular/biology level, not biographies); NF books about scientific discoveries made by LGBTQIA+, BIPOC or neurodiverse people; a how-to book for teens about divestment and eco-activism;

#mswl - I would love to see a trade NF book exploring antarctica and climate change. (This idea is not fully formed, so bear with me...) So like, why protecting antarctica is important, who "owns" antarctica, what is actually physically present (animals, research stations, etc)..

Someone should really write a Susan Orlean-styled book about the beginning of cosplay or the first comic con or something else equally geeky and send it to me!!

One of my favs of 2019 so far is @wscharer's The Age of Light, and I'd love to get queries for fiction (or nonfiction!) centered around badass women from history whose stories are begging to be told. #mswl

Thanks to @AARWeb and @ReadingReligion for a great review of Christian Martyrs under Islam: “This is an excellent and balanced book that I highly recommend for scholars and advanced students in every field related to the Middle East.” @PrincetonUPress readingreligion.org/books/christia…

Had the luck of starting—+ well on track to finishing—this terrific account of martyrdom under Islam; another example of a #MSWL NF for this agent in love with research. Hagiographies are studies of exp.; v. interesting to see personal/communal exps. contextualized historically.

I'm intrigued by the e-sports world now that I have two close friends who work in it. I'd love to see any YA or kids books, fiction or nonfiction, related to e-sports in my query inbox. Deep knowledge of e-sports phenomenon required #mswl

A last thought for the eve, before W. descends into her multi-story-deep reading cavern. One #MSWL for NF: a recent acq. linked me to this 'practical philosophers' project' of @ReD_Associates, which aids biz theory: amzn.to/30EHuSu. Would love a project like this for me!

I wonder if there is a way to do a YA Nonfiction True Crime book. #MSWL Not sure what it would look like but it would be interesting. This is different than my fiction request for murder mysteries.
