#mswl also memoir/narrative nonfic that braids together research with personal experience. Kind of like 'The Crane Wife' essay, but a book, meets LAB GIRL. Extra points if it's about marine life because we all kind of wanted to be marine biologists when we were younger didnt we?

#MSWL: I’m acquiring YA nonfiction. Looking for #NF on topical, relevant themes for teens that work for both report writing and pleasure reading.

Books in the vein of: The Dozier School for Boys by Elizabeth A. Murray, You Do You by Sarah Mirk, and Body 2.0 by Sara Latta.

#nonfiction: Cookbooks. If you have a following online, if you have receipes that are different, I'd love to see it. I'd like it to have a theme running through it and stories that accompany each recipe. #MSWL

MG or YA NF from a scientist, doctor, engineer, etc. translating all your coolest research into something that will give young readers a leg up on saving our ship and assure them there are adults fighting the good fight right now #MSWL

I love the show UNWRAPPED. I would totally be down for a NF like that. #MSWL

In both F and NF though, I'm pretty open minded on subject matter. I mostly get excited about quality of writing and expertise; if you're a good stylist and can be trusted on the topic, we'll figure out how to make other people care about it. #MSWL

Essays/commentary are probably worth calling out on their own. We're seeing all kinds of engaging work happening in literary NF right now and if you're as excited about it as I am, send me your stuff please #MSWL

#nonfiction: True Crime. Nothing relating to the mob or money laundering or the military, but I'd love to see books about killers and cults. #MSWL

I'd love to find more PB NF-- things like THE SEA BOOK or SEA BEAR. I like little known history and people, or climate/science geared topics. #MSWL
