Hi! Good morning! This is your semi-annual reminder that while I'm looking for diversity and own voices across the board, I am particularly interested in seeing submissions in the mystery and historical romance genres. Please send! #mswl

Evergreen #mswl for an atmospheric novel with a dual narrative.

I cannot WAIT to read Emily Henry's BEACH READ, so this is your reminder that if you've got a laugh-out-loud rom-com, give me a shout! #MSWL

Feeling murdery, as always. Send me your books! Cozies, historical or contemporary mysteries, true crime, psychological suspense, thrillers. I'm open. #MSWL

I will always, always geek out over all kinds of #archaeology. Maritime archaeology? Yep. Experimental archaeology? Definitely. If you're working on a nonfiction book in any subdiscipline, I will always want to see it. #mswl

Another #mswl for today: historical fiction set in the 20th century.

Amanda Jain @wensday95 · Mar 3

#MSWL always, always for more narrative nonfiction of all types and pop science. Send me your lovelies!

Do you write #HistoricalRomance ? Find out what the @HarlequinBooks Historical editors are looking for! bit.ly/2S96kX0

There's a lot of overlap here with my own historical romance #mswl. I have been begging for what feels like forever for a Regency centered on South Asian protags. And a 1950s historical romance? *swoons*

#mswl for my nonfiction writing friends:

*I'm currently devouring Patrick Radden Keefe's SAY NOTHING & would love to find a book in this vein. History or history / true crime that reads like a thriller.

*PopScience that takes a deep dive into a subject. Think SPYING ON WHALES.

Books that investigate class, race, or identity in America. Deirdre Mask's THE ADDRESS BOOK looks at these constructs from an original and fascinating angle.

Always books on books, art, or material culture. I'm itching to read Kassia St. Clair's THE GOLDEN THREAD. #mswl

I've received some great nonfiction queries this week for books about overlooked / misunderstood historical women. Keep 'em coming! #mswl

TFW all your library holds come in during your winter break 😍 #mswl

Amanda Jain @wensday95 · 3 Dec 2019

Many things put me in the mood for murdery reading, but it's especially true when the weather gets cold. Send me all your murder books! Your contemporaries, your historicals, your cozies, your true crime. #MSWL
