Thinking about how I really want an MG that could comp to THE IRON GIANT.

And I especially want a character like Dean. #mswl

I tend to love longer graphic novels for MG and YA #MSWL. Some recent faves have been LILY THE THIEF, GO WITH THE FLOW, PRINCE & THE DRESSMAKER, FEATHER, CITY ON THE OTHER SIDE, GHOSTED IN LA, WITCHY.

MIDDLE GRADE

- gentle contemporary romances about queer young people falling in love for the first time
- historical fiction highlighting overlooked events or individuals from marginalized groups
- contemporary novels about POC immigrants/second generation Americans
