The new book of my dreams is a Brooklyn 99-esque romance with all the things I love about that show (diversity, inclusion, humor, creativity, healthy relationships, etc., etc.) and no actual police work. I NEED IT RIGHT NOW! #MSWL

I grew up watching soap operas, & loved You Had Me at Hola. Would love to see women's fiction based in world of soaps (can be behind the scenes/in front of camera/after leaving spotlight). Something w/ humor and heart but feels authentic & respectful of the industry. #MSWL

3) High-concept YA contemporary or contemporary-with-a-twist, especially if it comes with an irreverent, self-referentially funny voice. Sarcastic or endearingly self-deprecating humor to the front of the line. I love a protagonist who feels like a co-conspirator.
