I grew up watching soap operas, & loved You Had Me at Hola. Would love to see women's fiction based in world of soaps (can be behind the scenes/in front of camera/after leaving spotlight). Something w/ humor and heart but feels authentic & respectful of the industry. #MSWL

3) High-concept YA contemporary or contemporary-with-a-twist, especially if it comes with an irreverent, self-referentially funny voice. Sarcastic or endearingly self-deprecating humor to the front of the line. I love a protagonist who feels like a co-conspirator.

(Memoir continued) I love books with humor and interesting perspectives, and enjoy a big personality or narration to go with the contents of the memoir. I do not want conservative or conservative leaning memoirs. #mswl
