For adult, I'd love a contemporary romance with humor. Maybe not full out Bridget Jones, but something that takes realistic elements and makes us giggle at them. #MSWL

Definitely always on the lookout for contemporary. I want all the feels, the angst. In YA, I really want mental health focus on LGBTQ+. DEFF want LGBTQ+ middle grade crushes! GIMME! #MSWL

I LOVE Fantasy (Urban, Contemporary, Epic, the whole wazoo). Give me lush worlds, fabulous magic systems, diverse and deep cultures. I'd love to see these also grappling with environmental issues or disability/mental health #MSWL

I love a fractured fairy tale! But please surprise me with something new. And while talking about fairy tales and myths, I'd love a MG fantasy with the cultural specificity and the fresh contemporary voice of Sayantani DasGupta's THE SERPENT'S SECRET. #MSWL

For a long time now I've been looking for a contemporary romance in which an only child/lonely person is welcomed into a huge, sprawling, loving family. Think While You Were Sleeping. (We're looking now for romances for 2020's holiday season, hint hint.) #MSWL

On the contemporary fiction, if it feels like Jason Reynolds could have wrote it, I'd love to see it. Realistic stories that don't shy away from hard topics. With characters we all can love.#MSWL

there's always room for more MG and picture books on my list, too. contemporary, fantasy, somewhere in between. lots of humor, lots of heart. those MG years are weird, funny, sad, hard, beautiful, and i want to feel alllll of it. take me back. (for better or for worse) #MSWL

Other random elements I love: historical fiction, witches (historical and contemporary, but less on the humorous side), boarding schools, food, slow build romance, whimsy, retellings...#MSWL

Literary MG, whether that's contemporary (a la Corey Ann Haydu) or an animal POV (PAX), I want the books that are going to pull at my heartstrings but leave me uplifted. I'd also love to see something girly (UNICORN QUEST) or with complex puzzles (BENEDICT SOCIETY). #MSWL

Contemporary YA! Especially commercial and high concept YA that can be pitched as x meets y. Especially especially a rom com. The next TO ALL THE BOYS I'VE LOVED BEFORE, a younger RED, WHITE, & ROYAL BLUE, etc. Diverse voices!

but to try and be at least remotely helpful (!) i'm always on the lookout for new YA of all stripes, though i have a forever love of contemporary - a fresh take on an every day idea, a twist i haven't seen before, a tearjerker (ideally of the happy kind, but i'll take both) #MSWL
