Hooray hooray, it's #MSWL day! So excited. :D Quick background about me: I'm an associate editor at Penguin Workshop, editing primarily licensed titles for major brands and media partners. However, I am also open to (and eager for!) MG and YA submissions. I am only looking for agented submissions.

Finally, in YA, my eyes are peeled for anything sweeping, epic, and emotional that *feels* like the Your Name soundtrack *sounds* (full of nostalgia+yearning), especially with a speculative twist!! #MSWL

In YA, I'd love to see comtemporary paranormal romances and mysteries from fresh, underrepresented perspectives à la CEMETERY BOYS, IF I HAVE TO BE HAUNTED, and THESE DEADLY PROPHECIES. Please give me vampires, witches, ghosts, zombies, etc. especially from a unique cultural lens! #MSWL

5) Stuff that feels like being a 90s kid/early 2000s teen - bright colors, big personalities, chunky shoes, fewer screens, more optimism

I'm open to all things MG and YA (as well as some adult NF), but I'd love to find a story with a Sixth-Sense-level twist, a twist that forces you to reread and confirm the clues were there—you just missed them entirely because the author is that good. #mswl

I'd probably give up a toe or something for a YA "Sugar and Spice" type story. Girls coming together for a good reason but doing bad things and getting away with it. If you haven't seen the movie, watch it. It's hysterical! #MSWL
