May is Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) Awareness Month and I'd love to find something in the #YA space that honors indigenous communities and brings awareness to this like Looking for Smoke by K. A. Cobell! #MSWL

I represent #kidlit of all kinds, but what I’m most interested in receiving in my inbox when we are #opentoqueries on 6/1 is: uplifting contemporary YA, non-fiction for all age groups written in compelling prose, projects from author/illustrators, and novels-in-verse! #MSWL

#mswl reminder: I am still on the hunt for standout trans/genderqueer voices, particularly in YA but also MG, from speculative to gorgeously written coming-of-age. My partner is trans/nb, I’m genderfluid, and I will never stop championing genderqueer authors

Just binged Maxton Hall on Amazon & it is literally everything I love in YA enemies to lovers. Class disparity, broken characters. Messy lives. Academic/boarding school vibe. Strong secondary characters. YA to NA vibe. This is a #MSWL . Closing soon but give me 👀 if you have it.
