#MSWL I had to return Leila La Brujita Perfecta to the library and now have a vacant hole for PB stories that bring on all the whimsy of Flavia Z. Drago's work.

Been watching POKER FACE and MURDER SHE WROTE and really feeling #MSWL BIPOC amateur investigating. Because, damn, we could use better representation in this space! Loved Jane Pek's THE VERIFIERS, for example.

#mswl — my goal for 2023 is to sign a suspense novel written by a BIPOC author. We need more of your books on shelves.

YA/NA #MSWL: although sci-fi is still tough, I always say things in publishing are tough but not impossible.

1. girls and nb folx who skate! does anyone else miss BETTY on hbo? I was gutted when it was canceled and keep thinking I’d love a bipoc YA or upper MG BETTY, a book about the challenges of hanging at the skate park as not-a-cis-guy 🛹
