Agents: If anyone has a winter solstice-themed picture book manuscript ready, I'd love to see it in the new year...

#MSWL

Just a reminder that I (and many other editors!) are eager to acquire and amplify trans voices. Agents, I’m always looking for picture books, graphic novels, and MG/YA novels that uplift the trans community 🏳️‍⚧️ No more room in this world or on our pub lists for bigotry & hate!

WRITERS! I'm open to queries through the holidays so if you have a finished YA/MG/PB/NF ms you're excited about and don't want to wait for the new year, send it over! #MSWL here: manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/shar…

Happy Tuesday! Here's your BookEnds #MSWL for today: "For picture books, she's particularly interested in manuscripts that are laugh out loud funny or deliciously dark." @TracyMarchini

A quick #MSWL for picture books:
I always, always love the intersection of family and food - keep me in mind for these!
But I have some specific desires right now in PBs, related to my own disability experience in myself and my family.

If I missed your #DvPit #PB pitch, paste query AND text in the body of the email OR paste the query in the email and attach the MS. #ownvoices #MSWL #diversity querylynnette (@) theseymouragency (.) com.

There’s a picture book in this @AdamMGrant thought. Someone write it & send it to me. #MSWL

PB:

-The ocean (I love dolphins & beluga whales!)

-Climate change, recycling, etc.

-The outdoors (e.g. camping/hiking)

-Sharing experiences of kids from nonwhite/non-Western cultures and backgrounds

-Tackling serious topics like grief for young readers

PB: I'm looking for PB much more sparingly than before, as my list is very full in this area. I'm not looking for rhyming PB.

Chapter books/early readers: Not looking for new authors here, I already have amazing clients writing these!

Yep, open to queries!
On my #MSWL: adult SFF, MG (particularly fantasy), YA (also particularly fantasy, but I love contemporary too), and PB. I'm looking for exciting new projects and dynamic voices. Surprise the heck outta me.

Last night I procrastinated so much on Actual Things (cleaning? life? etc) that I made myself a website 👀 taragonzalez.com

I just did a MASSIVE update to my #MSWL page to hopefully clear up some questions about what I'm looking for. Authors, if your book seems like a good fit, let's chat!
