Happy #MSWL day! I'll be posting some highly desired manuscripts in this thread.

The first? Give me Fire Emblem with angst and queerness and high court stakes.

More ADULT: Child psychopaths, along the lines of BABY TEETH, THE BAD SEED or THE GOOD SON.
What happens when a good family is stuck with a child who has no empathy whatsoever? #MSWL

Happy #MSWL day (and thank you to @jsinsheim for organizing!)

Before I tweet out some specific wishes, please read my @PubCrawlBlog post about using MSWL to personalize your query: publishingcrawl.com/2017/02/08/usi…

#MSWL I'd love a thoughtful picture book addressing the refugee crisis at our borders, preferably with some back matter on how kids can help

Happy #MSWL day! If I don’t get a romance/women’s fiction submission about a 30-year-old Latinx woman who’s throwing her quinceañera part 2 (aka the one she never had) and finally gets the boy who got away, I will flip. Think Never Been Kissed meets The Wedding Singer con azucar.

#MSWL: #ownvoices #MG or #YA protagonists with chronic illness, pain, and/or a disability in a story not focused on that, and where no one dies--it's just a part of life. This kind of rep is important to me & I rarely see it in subs or published books.

Alex Slater @abuckslater · Sep 24

I’m wishing for creepy #MG, serious literary #YA, and graphic novels especially by marginalized author/illustrators! #MSWL

Beth Anne Miller @1bethannemiller · Sep 24

Along with my desire for YA that will make me cry, I'd also love to see women's fiction that will make me cry. (Not sure why I'm so eager to cry, but that's neither here nor there.) #MSWL

Ah #MSWL day. My perennial list is here, with some updates at the bottom: elana.me/wish-list. I’ll try to tweet some more “specific” things today, but I try not to be too laundry-list-y on this stuff. Just try me!

So I found my witch writer, my pirates writer, and my ballet writer this year! WOOO!!! What am I looking for next?...

...Sci-Fi, gaming, and dystopian/futuristic sci-fi. I'm not a space opera person though! Sorry! #MSWL This goes for MG and YA! =)

First up in ADULT: Gimme all the rom-coms. I'm not just looking for romance. I want to laugh. I want to fall in love. Think THE HATING GAME or THE PROPOSAL (the Sandra Bullock movie). #MSWL

Beth Anne Miller @1bethannemiller · Sep 24

A YA novel that will make me cry on the train, earning me concerned glances from fellow commuters. #MSWL

Penny Moore @literarypenny · Sep 24

Even though I’m not quite caught up on submissions, I think I might have to open back up to queries because it’s #MSWL day!

Melissa Edwards @MelissaLaurenE · Sep 24

There’s been discussion on this delightful medium about MG and periods, so write it and let it flow my way (the pun is there) #MSWL
