Also really craving a beautiful Historical Fantasy with worldbuilding as solid as Carnival Row (but without Fae). Gotta have that captivating voice and I'd love to see some court intrigue thrown in there #MSWL
I'm also often drawn to books with strong water elements. Moody lighthouse keepers! Sleepy coastal towns! Ship captains! Merpeople! If there's lots of fog and salt air, I'm likely to be intrigued. (This goes for both romance and mystery.) #MSWL
MG or YA NF from a scientist, doctor, engineer, etc. translating all your coolest research into something that will give young readers a leg up on saving our ship and assure them there are adults fighting the good fight right now #MSWL
Jessica Sinsheimer @jsinsheimI realize this is super specific, but that's what #MSWL is for!
I'd love a middle grade that plays with how we can never be 100% sure what others are thinking--and, if it comes with something like an objective social interpretation machine, all the better.
In fact, I tend to love characters who find an objective way to interpret the things humans can never fully understand. If this goes with the last tweet, great! If not, still here for this. #MSWL
Kiki Nguyen @kiananguFor the love of God, I NEED YA thrillers, mysteries and Adult Domestic Suspense outside of the suburbs. I don’t GIVE A FUCK about this setting anymore. OVER IT!!
