"Fiction with a splash of whimsy: like THE TWELVE LIVES OF SAMUEL HAWLEY and WHERE THE FOREST MEETS THE STARS. Not quite magical realism but maybe." @carlywatters #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

"I read widely in YA, and enjoy just about every genre in it. I love moving contemporary reads, thrilling sci-fi, and lush fantasy." @ericsmithrocks #MSWL ericsmithrocks.com/mswl

#writingcommunity I have been CRAVINGGGG anything with sirens

Vicious merpeople sirens? YAS

Supernatural-inspired sirens? HELL YEAH

Give me all the hypnotic, enthralling, alluring monsters—antagonists, MCs, LIs, ALL OF THEM

JUST

✨SIRENS✨

I'm still looking for my YA mystery that reads like Brick - bonus points if the protagonist is LGBTQ+ ! #MSWL

I am especially interested in finding more SF! I love both literary SF that could be marketed to both non-genre and genre reading audiences, and more commercial SF with knowledgeable worldbuilding that asks big, human questions (ala the Expanse series) #MSWL

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I am almost completely caught up on queries. This means I'm HUNGRY. So even though it's not an official #MSWL day, in this thread I'm going to link to old wishlist items I still want and add some new ones!

Overall I'm craving unique takes on magic and worldbuilding, protagonists who struggle to acquire their ultimately hard-won skillsets, gorgeous prose, and narratives that ask topical questions or reframe old ones - especially from under-repped voices. #MSWL

I’m half-Peruvian and would love to represent more children’s and YA authors and illustrators of Peruvian heritage—and Peruvians who live in Peru are great too! Does anyone know any Peruvian artists in instagram I can check out? #MSWL

I don’t know how to make this sound not sarcastic (🤷🏼‍♀️) but I’d love to see some funny Christian picture books in my inbox. #MSWL
