the discussion about the lack of upper MG & lower YA has me thinking about how little I see experiences like my middle school days in fiction...when I was13-14 most ppl were not sexually active but ppl were absolutely making sex jokes and I feel like MG mostly sanitizes that

#MSWL I'd love to see more timely and topical MG nonfiction! Climate, immigration, women's rights, sexual identity, economics, as well as books on role models. Plus fun nonfiction on topics kids love, like animals and weird science and history!

One of my favorite thrillers is Butterfly Effect (dont @ me!). And I'd love to have a YA with similar themes. Of course, I'd love any YA/NA psychological thrillers. #mswl

I would like to see more psychological thrillers in YA #mswlYes! Send me stories that bend reality and make me question the stability of the main character.
Or even better, a main character who is hiding information from the reader.

I'm craving all the YA and MG horror! I like twisty, creepy, eerie, strange small towns, ghosts, secrets, MC's that may be a bit on the evil side (or morally grey), and something that keeps me up at night while feeling fresh.I grew up reading Fear Street, some Stephen King etc. and watching all the scary movies so horror is always high on my #MSWL

I'd really love to see more parenting books (guides, memoirs, etc.) by authors of color in my query box.
My wife and I had a hard time finding those when it was baby time, and I'd like to work on that. #MSWL
