Exception: I am starting to seek MG & YA nonfiction graphic novels with specific appeal to the school and library market #MSWL
I love SFF with strong curricular connections that would appeal to teachers/librarians incorporating them into curriculum/pairing with classics

Just realized it's #MSWL day. I've tweeted occasional MSWLs whenever they've come up, so feel free to search my history, but here's the gist of what I'm looking for:
All books must star IPOC
I only publish MG and YA fiction & graphic novels (see exceptions below)

I'd also love to see a MG or YA that makes science and math feel as super cool as it does in The Martian and Lab Girl #MSWL

I'd love to see more contemporary YA and MG that makes me laugh, including, but not exclusively, rom-coms. Additionally, I would love retellings where the story is told with the former antagonist becoming the protagonist. #MSWL

#MSWL I had a MG Wolf shapeshifter story slip through my fingers and I was slightly devastated. If you have one (and they're not actually called werewolves), I want it. I'm still hesitant on the vampires unless done differently, but wolves... Wolves are a must!

#MSWL I want a middle grade that reminds me of Anne of Green Gables.

In YA and MG:
✔️ That quirky kid who cares so much about science and their "work" that pressures from social standings/social media never touch them. Humor's a must!

I love upper MG where kids are trusted with more depth of emotion and experience. Think settings like Everlasting Nora by @cruzwrites. Conflict and struggle like The Night Diary by @VeeraHira #MSWL

I love advocating for creators, but especially marginalized creators. I could really use more adult SF/F and MG in my inbox! #MSWL
