We are still actively seeking contemporary Native American narratives for MG & YA, novel and graphic novel. I'd also love more books about black girls/by black women.

I am particularly looking for MG and young YA that has strong appeal for middle school/junior high students in the school/library market. Literary quality with strong commercial hook to get kids reading. #MSWL

Exception: I am starting to seek MG & YA nonfiction graphic novels with specific appeal to the school and library market #MSWL

I love SFF with strong curricular connections that would appeal to teachers/librarians incorporating them into curriculum/pairing with classics

I'd love to see more contemporary YA and MG that makes me laugh, including, but not exclusively, rom-coms. Additionally, I would love retellings where the story is told with the former antagonist becoming the protagonist. #MSWL

#MSWL I had a MG Wolf shapeshifter story slip through my fingers and I was slightly devastated. If you have one (and they're not actually called werewolves), I want it. I'm still hesitant on the vampires unless done differently, but wolves... Wolves are a must!

#MSWL I want a middle grade that reminds me of Anne of Green Gables.

#MSWL #MG please. No high fantasy, horror, sci fi but otherwise I will be open to (end of Sept), especially to #diverse voices, strong hooks, compelling plot, amazing characters. Even better if humor laced throughout drama or drama laced throughout humor.
