#MSWL - I would love a wilderness story in YA or MG (but especially MG because wilderness stories were so a part of my love of reading at that age).

I may have tackled @LynneKelly the first time I met her because I'm obsessed with her middle grade book SONG FOR A WHALE (Lynne is also just an A+ human so there's that too). If you have a book that feels reminiscent please send it my way! #MSWL

I’m constantly on the lookout for anything that reads like a Studio Ghibli film in both MG and YA (I love them all—especially Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Howl’s Moving Castle). #MSWL

Women who aren't what you expect, who have strong or indelible (not necessarily likable) voices. Again, in lit fic or commercial women's fiction; also YA and MG. #MSWL

I just finished rewatching Avatar: The Last Airbender (A PERFECT SERIES), and would love to see an MG with similar humor/stakes! #MSWL

I would LOVE to edit a satirical MG or YA novel about student government. Think Mean Girls meets Wag the Dog. Or, like, Election without the gross teacher. #MSWL

#MSWL Cozy Magic MG. Think bookshops. Plant shops. Sweaters, and hot chocolate and blankets feeling inducing.

I love novels (MG, YA, adult any genre) that are mostly in our world but have a single magical component that changes everything. #MSWL

MG or YA NF from a scientist, doctor, engineer, etc. translating all your coolest research into something that will give young readers a leg up on saving our ship and assure them there are adults fighting the good fight right now #MSWL

Oh, and very big on my #mswl as I await cooler weather: YA and MG that feels somehow autumnal! Give me book-form crispy leaves and spiced cider (spiked or not), please. I love good, cozy stories.
