Day 12 of #25DaysofMSWL: I want graphic novels. Recent favorites have been THE PRINCE AND THE DRESSMAKER, ESTRANGED, THE WITCH BOY. I also loved NIMONA. #MSWL

Things I’d love to find in my submissions folder in 2019: a (YA, I think?) graphic novel-style biography of Selena by a Latinx author or author-illustrator. #MSWL ew.com/tv/2018/12/11/…

"Always on the hunt for amazing illustrated graphic novels, especially for teens and young readers." @msmariavicente #MSWL mariavicente.com/representation/

My annual it’s-dark-outside-at-4pm #mswl for a YA or middle grade narrative set at summer camp has arrived right on schedule. The more queer the better, must have emotional stakes, graphic novels welcome.

Rewatching the 90s MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING and what hits me every time is that I forget that the plot revolves so much around the accusation of Hero not being a virgin. The parts I remember are the running around conspiring to make Benedic and Beatrice fall in love w/ each other.

I've often said I'd LOVE a YA retelling of Much Ado, and I stand by that, but I'd love a feminist reclaiming of it, too. That's a #MSWL, by the way--YA graphic novel retelling of Much Ado about Nothing starring modern-day POC teens. What would such a retelling look like?

I've tweeted this before, but wanted to post it again: I'm hungry (pun absolutely intended) for a graphic novel about food/cooking/baking, with recipes included. :) #MSWL

I really want a MG graphic novel about a witch (witches? witch school? idk) so I am putting it out into the universe aka #MSWL

Listen guys. I don’t know much about graphic novels (yet) but I DO know a graphic novel set in Cuba would be 💯 #MSWL

Hello all, a reminder that I JUST REALLY WANT A GRAPHIC NOVEL IN MY LIFE. #MSWL

Clelia Gore @MadmoiselleClel · 15 Oct 2018

Being a new mom, I've never read more graphic novels than I am now. At the end of a tiring day, I find a graphic novel the right balance of text and art to keep me awake for a whole book, LOL. As a result, I am in a GN mood! Send me your kid lit graphic novel proposals! #mswl

Would especially love a MG graphic novel that could be described in the above way! #MSWL

Natascha Morris @SoCalledYALife · 12 Sep 2018

#MSWL MG graphic novels. I absolutely adore Jen Wang.

Illustrated memoir or graphic novel where the main character has synesthesia or somehow experiences the world in a non-traditional way #mswl

#MSWL YR/MG/YA graphic novels! Great art is the priority: by great I mean clean, expressive, well--and cleverly!--laid-out. You can do a lot with a little, but if you do a lot, those details better suck my face into the page. That+adorable, funny, heartbreaking characters.
