Packing up my house, stumbled upon my collection of mix CDs from friends & exes, all up in my feelings. How influential were mix CDs in who we turned out to be??? I would read the hell out of a mix CD-themed friendship story with a nostalgic vibe rn. Make me cry. #MSWL

YA: the MC needs to have a strange interest that teaches me something new. I don't do super heavy (sexual assault, addiction, abuse, suicide), and I like to laugh. Not a good fit for sad w/o humor. Quirky voice gets me every time. I love female friendship/empowerment and spooks.

Also I #MSWL the heck out of these friendships & rivalries! I want more strong bonds, relationships that evolve & friends that make mistakes & learn together.

More characters who'll never stop fighting for their dreams because they know their friends are there to support them.
