My kid just shared an article with me about the Aztec Death Whistle, and I will never unhear that sound, and if anyone is writing something frightening and fantastical about something like this, #MSWL!AND THEN my kid shared a link with me about the Basket Star which is the coolest creature ever, and I want it to be a benevelont space creature that everyone is afraid of but really just wants to help people or something #mswl

I’ve mentioned this before and it’s so specific, but I’m dying for a romcom that takes place at sleepaway camp. I’m talking a classic east coast sleepaway camp: 8 weeks, theater shows, color war themes, rival counselors, boating, late night swims...local bars (if it’s counselors), dances, art, intramurals, mess hall. Take me back, please! #MSWL

Also, surely there is a fantasy novel featuring Grand Central as a wild nexus of portals to magical worlds? If not, I would love for an author of color to write that & send it to me. #MSWL#MSWL. I would love this so much, especially from an author who has spent time in Grand Central and understands its nuances. Ever lost a key on the train? The lost and found has so many keys! Maybe he’s the key master to each gateway!

#MSWL cnn.com/2018/11/28/hea…We’ve seen this before in SFF, but I want MORE…Gattaca blew my tiny mind when I first saw it in school. I'd love to feel that way again.
I love stories where small changes lead to huge society-wide consequences, for gene-editing, there are stories to tell about every level (early on in development & first implementation, during the growing pains/adoption stage, later on once it's been more widely accepted). #MSWL

#MSWL I want stories that explore all the different possibilities that can come from gene editing. (1/2)

Within the immigrant experience, there's so much I'd like to see reflected in all subgenres. (1/2) #MSWL

I badly want to see more first or second gen immigrant stories and ones that reflect the multi-generational experience in mg and YA. I want to read about others experiences and hopefully, see my own reflected as well. #MSWLWithin the immigrant experience, there's so much I'd like to see reflected in all subgenres. (1/2) #MSWL
