This year, Prince & Knight became one of my most favorite picture books, and I would loooove to find something like it! #mswl

At @HallmarkPublish, we care more than most people about SETTINGS. Give the reader a nice place (in the U.S.) to escape to! Charming small towns, of course, but also beaches, farms, pretty houses, mountain getaways, orchards, gardens, and even fun cities, etc. #MSWL 🌆🏡🌄🏖️

Day 4 of #25DaysofMSWL: I want Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix in a dark thriller-esque kind of fantasy. Less alien involvement, more character driven reasons for the change. #MSWL

Give me the Denny Duquette Izzie Steven’s storyline. The excitement, the heartbreak, the drama but with something new and unique.

Another favorite TV relationship: Shawn Hunter and Jonathan Turner. Give me this relationship In a book ... please?

Sports. Sports in YA F. In YA rom. In A rom. Nonfiction if it’s exceptional but I’ll be picky here. LGBT sports. I want the female QB and the female cheer captain - OR male QB and male cheer capt!

Stephanie Hansen @hansenwriter · Dec 3

Currently battling strep reminds me of a battle won in ICU 8 yrs ago. In the new year, I want to read a YA story about a protagonist that's won a battle. But, the story doesn't revolve around the battle, it's a mere stair step to many great things AND bigger battles. #MSWL

DYING (ha) for more YA horror in my inbox, especially speculative/family-centric/this-monster-is-a-metaphor in the vein of THE BABADOOK or HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE #mswl
