Dying for some dark, romantic, magical YA fantasy in my inbox this new year 😈 #mswl

-contemporary MG and YA issue books, where the issue is NOT the main focus
-MG and YA romances #LGBTQ+, as well as M/F
-jaw-dropping, twisty thrillers in both YA and adult fiction
-traditional mysteries with a fresh twist and a hint of romance but NOT romantic suspense

-joyful stories about the lives of marginalized creators in PB and MG
-MG & YA contemporary stories as graphic novels or novels-in-verse

… deep MG with a strong message; sweeping YA fantasy; women’s fiction with characters I’d kill for; banter-filled contemporary romance; and meaningful and well-written nonfiction for any age. They’ll fill in some gaps on my list! #MSWL

I am especially keen to find YA mysteries & love stories, anything with an unreliable narrator & voicey MG characters who know their own minds! 🤗 I love historical & also contemporary adventures with a twist! Glorious writing is top of my wishlist - ALWAYS! #MSWL

Would love an MG or YA book whose theme/lesson is "sometimes your family sucks and you don't have to put them first actually." #mswl

I get a lot of "family is the most important thing" books which is sweet and all but... does not match my experience or that of many of my friends
