YA

#MSWL includes all YA/MG/PB except fantasy. I'm hungry for something that grabs me in from the first line and totally distracts me from COVID worries. stringerlit.com

Hey #DVPit folks- just a reminder - if I miss your pitch and you think we'd be a good fit, please query! I'm especially hungry for #YA #mystery, #horror, #thriller, #romcom and #MG #horror #humor #graphicnovel right now! #MSWL

Elana Roth Parker @ElanaRoth · Apr 22

And I will most assuredly miss lots of pitches today (yay kids at home!). My queries are open regardless of today's event. I'm always looking for funny, madcap adventures in MG and big sweeping escapist stories in YA (all genres, but not the bloody ones). #DVpit #MSWL

i'm looking for a YA that gives me the same feeling i get when tom holland lifts up his arms and is drenched in water at the exact moment rihanna sings "gonna let the rain fall" (1:29 for reference). in other words, total joy.

A YA novel that comps to THE BOLD TYPE #MSWL

Megan Ilnitzki @megilnit · Apr 20

A sweeping MG or YA fantasy with epic stakes, bold themes, lush writing, and relatable characters. Bonus points for series potential. MG and YA fantasy is always at the top of my #MSWL and in these times, I especially want to lose myself in a smart, well-crafted world.

Megan Ilnitzki @megilnit · Apr 20

Throwing out a few Monday #MSWL items into the universe while we’re all still under quarantine. I’m enjoying doing this as I’m looking to build my list right now across PB, MG, and YA, with a focus in MG. Agent friends, if we haven’t connected yet, let’s!

Kelly Dyksterhouse @KellyDHouse · Apr 20

This Monday morning, I’m wishing for YA with a vivid world/setting that bends the rules in its genre—whether that be genre blending or an unexpected twist to a tired trope, I want to be surprised and taken away to another world. #mswl #ya

#MSWL a YA fantasy HACKSAW RIDGE. This was a war movie that felt so different to me because of who Desmond Doss was.

More just we see alot of stabby stab in fantasy but what if there was a main character who said no. I just love how inspiring Doss was, saving lives. #MSWL #YA
