#MSWL I would love to read more YA non-fiction graphic novels that:
-showcase proactive groups of people (think GIRLS WHO RUN THE WORLD)
-deal with serious topics (reproductive rights, loss, mental illness, etc.) in a positive way (can be fiction too)
-are inspiring memoirs

#MSWL - YA rom coms and love stories!

#MSWL - Anything that feels high concept and cinematic in YA, whether it’s sci-fi, fantasy, or contemporary with a speculative twist. Stories with big “what if” premises.

#MSWL - Smart, commercial YA thrillers & mysteries! Think Tiffany Jackson, Karen McManus, E. Lockhart. Also, YA horror! I’d love something like MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, with a good speculative twist.

#MSWL - middle grade or YA graphic novel series, whether contemporary, contemporary with a twist of magic, or fantasy. Especially would love to find a great contemporary series with a great concept.

I'd also love more spooky/horror MG. Give me fantastic monsters, nature-based villains (like a forest or swamp), and something weird and twisty. I'll take it in YA too. #mswl

I just finished Rick Riordan's recent Apollo book, and I would love an upper MG or YA or Adult book about Artemis/Diana. If YA or A, I would love this in the vein of Madeline Miller's Circe. MG would be in the vein of a RR Presents novel! #mswl

The last five days of my life were mostly drama and fear, but things are looking up. I still need cheering up, nonetheless, so my #MSWL for now is: YA friendship stories, YA romance, YA rom coms, YA boarding school books, YA hijinks, YA "All American" show TV like soap opera.

i have SO many incredible queries in my inbox and i'm reading from my couch so keep 'em coming! some of my #MSWL : heartwarming YA w/ mixed-race families, gorgeous essay collections on queerness/sex/sexuality, and adult fic w/ a protagonist of color figuring out their early 20s

Real talk - I would be into something in my inbox for kids or teens that, if not actively advocating for prison abolition, seriously treats it as an option and a pathway. Fiction or nonfiction. MG or YA. #mswl
