#MSWL I would love to read more YA non-fiction graphic novels that:
-showcase proactive groups of people (think GIRLS WHO RUN THE WORLD)
-deal with serious topics (reproductive rights, loss, mental illness, etc.) in a positive way (can be fiction too)
-are inspiring memoirs

Updated my agenting wishlist. Two specific highlights:
* Novels (includes kid-lit!) and memoirs about the adoptee experience, by adoptees.
* Adult and kid-lit books that celebrate neurodiversity, from authors who are neurodivergent.

I've been getting in some amazing, funny, and super heart-warming YA rom-coms in my inbox BUT . . . I really want to see more queer rom-coms!!

@Quiberonq I read alot of YA as a kid but I am seeing the progression of it get heavier. Like PRINCESS DIARIES, ALANNA: THE FIRST KNIGHT, CROWN DUEL are all YA today but I would say Younger side. And I would love to see diverse younger YA in those same veins.
