But when agent screws up, authors sometimes have trust issues.I get it, totally. Please don't hesitate to query me & talk opwnly if you were recently impacted by 1 of these events where an agent didn't do their job according to industry standards.I would love to see your work. 2/#MSWL Adult and YA fantasy, sci fi, romance. "Fluffy YA books by POC and LGBTQ+ writers. As much as I love angst and think “issue books” are super important, I also love ridiculously fun stories that make readers feel good about life (including their identities)." @msmariavicente #MSWL mariavicente.com/representation/

I've been saying it for years, but I desperately want a YA novel about a male ballet dancer. OR a memoir by a male ballet dancer about his experiences growing up in ballet. Give me the YA Billy Elliot I've been dreaming of! #MSWL youtube.com/watch?v=IhwPMb…

Seriously, Brooklyn is my new favorite movie and it makes me so happy every time I turn it on. I ordered it on DVD on 2-day delivery just so I can bring it to the U.K. With me and force @writerShanna to watch it. 😂 Anyone have a YA historical like this? #MSWL

Stepped inside @BankStreetBooks mere moments before the downpour began & well, there are worse fates than waiting out a thunderstorm in a bookstore. ⛈📚⛈Update: read some books. ☔️📚
Related P.S. Standing #MSWL request for all your kids/MG/YA graphic novels! Illustrators, authors, and/or author-illustrators are all welcome. (I’m probably not the right agent for adult graphic novels/comics, tho.)

I watched "The Blair Witch Project" this weekend, and am real proud of myself for sleeping afterward. It makes me want to read a YA horror in that vein, where your imagination makes everything worse. Urban legends. Haunted woods. Someone make me afraid to sleep, please.

Speaking of Shakespeare, wouldn't mind seeing a modern take on MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING or MIDSUMMERS NIGHT'S DREAM in a YA contemporary or YA/Adult Fantasy.Much Ado about Nothing has been my favorite Shakespeare since the 4th grade. I wonder what it would look like set in a high school. Definitely a #MSWL. Must star IPOC.
