I'm also looking for upmarket YA Fantasy. I'm a sucker for thoughtful and elegant prose, and deep (not wide) worldbuilding that feels effortless despite it's intricacies. Contemp fantasy, second world fantasy, whatever--it's all great, as long as it sweeps me away. #mswl

In YA, I'm craving a high concept contemporary--that means you can pitch in easily b/c it has a HOOK. I love weird jobs, enemies to lovers, unique living situations, and high stakes. #mswl

You know what'd be cool to see more of in YA Fantasy? Mythologies no one has read before, like the hundreds of Native American tribes, or the 54 countries and thousands of tribes within Africa, or Haittian or Persian or Hittite. Something that can open our eyes and minds. #MSWL
