I read a ton of mystery/thriller/suspense submissions as well as women's fiction & I find that I've become increasingly disappointed when the love interest pops in and it's not a LGBTQ character. Where are my LGBTQ characters? #MSWL

I'm about to close to queries, but before I do, I'd really love to see some heartfelt MG in my inbox, along with twisty psychological thrillers & smart horror. #mswl

#mswl mystery, thriller or domestic suspense would be the natural 1st thought, but I'll take a look at romance, ya + fantasy or scifi too. Like... what if you escape from the #gameroom and you're now in the future or another dimension, or there are aliens or you don't exist, etc.

Last weekend's Saturday plans gave me a new #mswl request - a YA thriller set on Governors Island (or someplace similar) after dark!
A contained situation where safety is visible but out of reach 👍🏻
A ton of similar-looking buildings (disorienting but many places to hide!) 👍🏻

Probs setting myself up to get many queries with altos in it but listen make it a thriller where the alto takes down a soprano for a coveted spot and I’m in #mswl

I keep thinking I'll stop my #MSWL tweets, but then ideas pop into my brain and I wonder... today, I'd die for a twisty thriller with a truly surprising turn set in India, possibly involving Hindu mythology and magic or some kind of strange tech that borders on magic.

I'm also always hunting for thrillers. I tend to go for more traditional, governmental based thrillers than the psychological sort. #MSWL
