I'm very interested in how setting up colonies on other planets in science fiction with the legacy of colonialism on Earth being so negative. Is humanity doomed to make the same mistakes or could we be better? #mswl

I want a science fiction novel about a unionization movement among spaceship workers, whether laborers on ships, docks, or ancillary industries. Like, not focused on the SF technologies just pure labor activist realism in an SF setting.#mswl !!!

For science fiction, I’m looking for space opera and science fantasy like GIDEON THE NINTH, SOME DESPERATE GLORY and THE SCOURGE BETWEEN STARS. It doesn’t need to be fast and loud – TO BE TAUGHT, IF FORTUNATE is a favourite – but it needs to have major sf elements.
Literary Agent
I’m also looking for speculative romance in general, whether it has a big SFF element like THE UNDERTAKING OF HART AND MERCY and WINTER’S ORBIT or a romance with speculative elements like WITCHFUL THINKING and THE EX HEX.

This is incredibly specific, but I’d love a science fiction novel or novella that explores AI in a way that feels like Catherine Weaver from The Sarah Connor Chronicles. #mswl

SFF is hard for me because I grew up in it so it’s difficult to feel fresh. Look at who I represent for a feel of my tastes: THE Linda Addison (@nytebird45), Hailey Piper (@HaileyPiperSays), Cynthia Pelayo, etc. #MSWL 🧵

I’d love some lighter fantasy & sci-fi stories that feel grounded and accessible
Like I don’t need to know how the flux capacitor works just that it makes time travel possible (this sci-fi reference is the perfect analogy for how I want my fantasy and sci-fi in adult) #MSWL

New year, new #MSWL!I represent BIPOC, Queer, and marginalized creators writing commercial genre fiction across MG, YA, Adult, and Graphic Novel. My particular weaknesses are genre-blending SFF, horror, and anything with murder or making out (ideally both)
2023 #MSWL! As a reminder, I represent BIPOC, queer, & marginalized creators making joy for themselves in SFF & horror for MG, YA, Adult, and Graphic Novel.
My existing MSWL is still a mortifyingly perfect encapsulation of my tastes, but this year I'm looking for even MORE:

"I read widely in YA, and enjoy just about every genre in it. I love moving contemporary reads, thrilling sci-fi, and lush fantasy."

#MSWL: I’d love a fantasy or sci-fi with a memoir-ish voice, like A Natural History of Dragons or Ten Thousand Doors of January…those 4th wall breaks really do it for me, man.
