Three things right now:
1. Clinical books about how we can heal ourselves during this difficult time.
2. Books that offer a world of escapism such as fantasy and science fiction, etc.
3. Lighthearted and humorous books to lighten the mood.

And @a_cochran says: I’m looking for quality crime/thriller/speculative/SFF (would love a good epic fantasy), literary novels, historical that doesn’t wear its research too heavily, and anything with a strong concept that hooks me from the first page bit.ly/3btDWXS

@tadethompson @Gambit589 @jeannette_ng @Shakes_P Does this make me an apprentice witch?! I'll take it! @writingandcoe I feel this is your wheelhouse. Also, there has to be a book somewhere about this right?
I would like to confirm that knitters are indeed witches, but also confirm that I can't knit: I'm terrible at it😅
I will, however, absolutely take a book on this theme! #mswl #sff

My two cents on YA sci-fi—it works best when the science fiction elements line up with actual teen struggles. Uglies and Divergent are two great examples. Body image? Cliques and belonging? These books use science fiction to speak directly to the unique needs of teensI’m all for YA sci-fi, but totally agree 👇👇👇, so if you can show me how your YA SF aligns to teen struggles, then #MSWL, y’all.
