Are there any SFF stories/novels about a pandemic that mostly kills white people (e.g. the reverse of the one we're living now) & its effects on society? If not, & a BIPOC writer wants to write it for YA: #MSWL

#MSWL - Anything that feels high concept and cinematic in YA, whether it’s sci-fi, fantasy, or contemporary with a speculative twist. Stories with big “what if” premises.

#MSWL - MIDDLE GRADE. Any and all middle grade! I am hungry for it: standalone contemporary, sweeping fantasy series, sci-fi, horror, you name it. I’d love something high concept, like CITY OF EMBER, NEVERMOOR, ARU SHAH & THE END OF TIME, etc.

Would love an adult sci-fi, or spec-fi with strong world-building centered on a Latinx culture, but also want it to have a very strong science fiction plot line. Would love Dune vibes. #MSWL
