Lisa Green Editor @LisaGreenEdito2@jem_zero I do love horror. It's tough to do a horror romance, but I'd definitely be into seeing one.
Yes I'm retweeting my own tweet because I decided to add it to my #MSWL as long as there are fantasy or paranormal elements.
Submissions to Shadow Mountain Publishing will be moving to AGENTS ONLY on 1/1/22. The slush pile will, however, open once a quarter for unsolicited submissions.

I have such a very specific #mswl request that I might just IP it.
-Black love/Black characters (w/o touching on racism….I know…)
-Vibes of “Fearless” (TV), “Jump then Fall” (TV), “Today was a Fairytale” (TV)
Are the characters complicated and fresh but at the same time, familiar? I'm looking for a thriller that's pulse-pounding, a commercial novel that makes me forget I'm working, and a romance where the chemistry is palpable and builds throughout the book. (2/4)
FYI: Queries read through 11/25. MSS to come. // Happy Thanksgiving! Peace! // #MSWL: all good things; ever-keen on representing a genie thriller, romance a la Rainbow Rowell, clever picture books, illustrators with visions, + more. // Closed. Until next updates.
I'd love to see more submissions from trans women and trans feminine folks. I'm currently considering YA, NA, and adult romance books. I love fantasy, contemporary books, and women's fiction. I'm not too keen on horror, thrillers, and suspense #MSWL
I would really love to see more adult projects in my inbox. #MSWL -- especially:
*Underrepresented women in history
*LIGHT fantasy (if House on the Cerulean Sea is a comp-yes please)
*LGBTQIA+ stories (especially joyful ones)
Okay, question for all ye genies: the best romance or women's fiction novels featuring partners with significant age differences? I'll take any (LOLITA, etc.), but I'm keen on something v. healthy, good, etc., especially where you have a female gifted + precocious. (Into: #MSWL.)
In YA: I’m listening to Red (Taylor’s version) on repeat—my “All Too Well” ask in the Romance section might have given me away—but a story inspired by “Everything Has Changed” would be right up my alley. Bonus points if it’s set during summer vacation. #mswl
In Romance: Hear me out, a second-chance romance inspired by Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well”…Like a story where the timing was all wrong, but they’re older now and maybe they needed to grow up in order to work? #mswl
It's Tuesday! Here's your #MSWL for today, from @BookEndsKim: "She’s eager to find big, sweeping love stories that will appeal to book club readers, and straddle the romance and women’s fiction markets."
Maybe I've been watching too much hallmark, but I am hungry for the anti-"career gal goes back home to a small town find herself" romance. Please send me your romance set in big cities, with our big charm, bigger antics and swoony (but yes sometimes grimy) settings! #mswl
#MSWL: I want FULL LENGTH curvy girl, body-positive romance. I’m sick of either not finding them or finding they’re only novellas. I want the steam, the heat, the heart-racing…all of it! I’m still closed to queries, but if you have one and are querying, DM me for a special link.
LB Black @authorlbblackI am *desperate* for paranormal romance books where the male lead isn't a domineering alpha. No shade if that's your cup of tea -- I'm just looking for my soft monsters. My cottagecore vampires. My 'looks like a cinnamon roll, but could actually kill you' vibes.
Oooohhhh!!!! #MSWL as soon as I reopen for queries!!!
Today's #MSWL pulls from literary agent Emily Forney's website: "In YA, [stories that] are highly romantic, glamorized, [with] rich world building that feels so satisfyingly developed." @EmilyKaitlinnn
Here's an #MSWL for you (a thread)
I want a super self indulgent vampire romance. Take me back to the early 2000s. Very Queen of the Damned/Underworld movie vibes. Either prose of graphic novel. I want action and mystery and maybe conspiracy too.
