The town I spent every summer in had a gas station that had a lot of groceries and a lunch counter. That was our grocery store and the only restaurant in town.

I want a book set in that kind of town written by someone who lived there. #mswl

The @TheTobiasAgency #mswl day is over, but I wanted to clarify: When I say I want anything under the SFF umbrella, most people know I mean fantasy and sci-fi but they don't realize I also want things that are other genres (mystery esp) with a speculative twist!

This is vague, I know, but since it's #mswl day at @TheTobiasAgency, I would love to find a SFF/speculative in adult or ya that is weird but captivating. A little bit of "I have no idea what's going on but I am into it."

Still would really love a charismatic con artist who is not a man. The kind of dastardly, charming fictional character you fall in love with, but would never want to be around in real life. #mswl

When I say I want complicated sibling relationships, I don't mean like there is a sibling and some minor conflict. I mean like... sisters who kill for each other, brothers who are spy vs spy, siblings saving a failing business, etc

Those are just kinda holes in my list I'd like to fill.

Still would love to find a really authentic small (4 way stop kind!) town setting, where the setting has a huge impact on the characters and the plot

I'm especially looking to find adult romance, contemporary ya, and some fun MG right now. Not that I'm not open to others!

Would love an MG or YA book whose theme/lesson is "sometimes your family sucks and you don't have to put them first actually." #mswl

I get a lot of "family is the most important thing" books which is sweet and all but... does not match my experience or that of many of my friends

Now that I'm open to queries, I'm especially hoping to find a clever, sexy romance. would also love to see more cozy-ish paranormal (especially genre crossover).

Not saying I'm not looking for the other genres, of course, these are just holes in my list I'd like to fill
