I've often said I'd LOVE a YA retelling of Much Ado, and I stand by that, but I'd love a feminist reclaiming of it, too. That's a #MSWL, by the way--YA graphic novel retelling of Much Ado about Nothing starring modern-day POC teens. What would such a retelling look like?I would EXTREMELY love this. #MSWL

Rewatching the 90s MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING and what hits me every time is that I forget that the plot revolves so much around the accusation of Hero not being a virgin. The parts I remember are the running around conspiring to make Benedic and Beatrice fall in love w/ each other.I've often said I'd LOVE a YA retelling of Much Ado, and I stand by that, but I'd love a feminist reclaiming of it, too. My updated #MSWL is up! Find it here: manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/amy-… Would love more upmarket/literary fiction from women of color and, since we're approaching Halloween, things with a bit of spook to them.

I loved domestic suspense before it was a trend and will love it after it fades from such intense popularity. Would love to see more in my inbox by POC authors though.I couldn't agree with this more. Always on the #MSWL

I love the idea of #MSWL day but I'm rarely looking for a very specific concept or type of book. I just want the book to be yours and yours alone. To be so specific you can see the whole world in its details. That said, here are a few things that are very top of mind for me:Contemporary horror/thriller focused on the experiences of POCs. We live harrowing lives and ones that see the world from a different angle. Film/tv has done a great job of catching up to representing those experiences. I want more of it in books. #MSWL

24/7/365 I welcome #ownvoices. I welcome all and would especially love stories by&about people of color, with disabilities (esp invisible), who have mental illness, who are LGBTQ, or who are economically disadvantaged #MSWL #wndb

Just realized it's #MSWL day. I've tweeted occasional MSWLs whenever they've come up, so feel free to search my history, but here's the gist of what I'm looking for:All books must star IPOC
I only publish MG and YA fiction & graphic novels (see exceptions below)
Our publisher @stacylwhitman tweeted her #MSWL in this thread: twitter.com/stacylwhitman/…
