#MSWL tweet! On top of seeing some atmospheric lighthouse submissions hit the inbox, I wonder if anyone is writing some good SF around isolation - something that makes me feel like a microscopic dot against a microscopic dot. I'd also love a fast-paced UK/European thriller.

*submissions alert* We are looking for brilliant, engaging non-fiction!

I am particularly interested in nature and climate writing, food, drink and travel, and deep-dives into weird and wonderful subjects.

I'm currently really interested in the relationship between cities and the rivers that run through them, from cultural, environmental and political points of view. If anyone is writing something on this send me a DM.

4.Gangland dramas that give us the lives of the crims, not the police chasing them. Make @katenashagent happy by having it set in Essex. Make me happy by letting me into their livingrooms to watch Eastenders.

3.WW1 or WW2 stories that aren’t acts of derring-do. What about the people left behind, or those in the factories?

2.Real urban settings, with stories that wear them like a skin. The time period is irrelevant as long as I can picture what the streets smell like after rain.

A few things I’d love to see drop into the #KateNashLiteraryAgency #submission inbox (address in my bio):
1.A rural Victorian saga, but that leaves the big houses out. As harvest time gets underway I long for hard cider and the sound of threshing machines.
