I'm eager for fun middle grade series, humorous or not -- but definitely heartfelt. Sweeping worlds, sweeping adventures, kids wrapped up with gods and monsters and magic. Bonus points for fun animal (or magical-creature) sidekick characters! #MSWL

Rereading Rainbow Rowell’s “Carry On” before I finish up the trilogy and it’s reminding me of how much I love magic boarding school/academia settings. I’d love to see a twist on the classic trope with, of course, a queer romance!💫 #MSWL

- Sweeping historical fiction / magical realism, especially stories about non-white history
