Okay so Queens of the Fireburn is an incredible title for a fantasy novel, so if someone could take inspiration from this bit of history and write an epic fantasy about a trio of black women rising up and starting a magical revolution that would be great #mswl #ownvoices

#MSWL I want witches (bayou, earthy, crystals) in contemporary or hist fic/fantasy. AHS without stereotyping or f/f hate.

Kaitlyn Johnson @kaitylynne13 · 4 Apr 2018

#MSWL for MG, I want mature voices. Upper MG storylines. LOVE historical fiction for younger characters, contemporary that makes me like who I'm reading about, urban fantasy/magical realism where the child is strong & proud.

#MSWL I like gritty, I like dark, and I like finding the kernel of light in complicated characters. Especially in Fantasy & Sci Fi. However, not a fan of rape, drug/physical/sexual abuse, or mystery/thriller plots.

#MSWL Urban Fantasy all ages, based off lesser-known legends and myths. Give me creatures that require research, that you don't see in every scary movie.

Kaitlyn Johnson @kaitylynne13 · 4 Apr 2018

#MSWL Southern Gothic is high on my list. YA or A; historical fiction/fantasy, contemporary, urban fantasy, magical realism. Bonus points for local legend and bayou storylines.

#MSWL I am DYING for Historical Fiction & Historical Fantasy featuring POC, females in male-dominated industry, LGBTQ+. Also looking for settings other than the overplayed American/European countries

@dinovisms MSWL?

Replying to @HannahFergesen

I was thinking clear manifestation of my severe perfectionist tendencies, but now I kind of want a YA UF about a badass girl with self-changing body art she uses to solve crimes in dreamscape sequences... #mswl

#MSWL fantasy spy mash up. What if the Cold War was set in a high fantasy and some spy intrigue had to go down? Brought to you by the show COUNTERPART which everyone should watch $

Whether allegorical fantasy or contemporary #Christian #YA, if your manuscript feels like @NeedtoBreathe - raw, honest, mud-longing for beauty- I'd love to see your query. #mswl

#MSWL : women, diversity, and #ownvoices in sci fi.
Also desperately in need of a fantasy that takes me to an unexpected, far off land. Preferably with LGBTQ+ elements.
