YOUNG ADULT:
- A fresh, self-aware diverse romance ala #JaneTheVirgin for teens
-A LGBTQIA+ story that doesn’t feature a coming out story
-A freshman year of college story!!
-A gritty, heart-pounding thriller rooted in character with a slow-burning romance

All ages: Female friendship, gender subversion, Southern Gothics, wordplay and puns, under-explored chapters in history, Jewish characters beyond WWII/shtetl, economic #diversity, genre blends, stories set in the deep South, rural America, and the Southwest. That's my #MSWL.

In SFF, I love a kickass heroine doing kickass things. I want to see a diverse group of people (in a multicultural/gender/sexuality sense) coming together to fight whatever BIG BAD there is. While High Fantasy isn't a good fit, pretty much everything else is.

i’m still digging my way out from under a pile of submissions (sorry agents!!!) but there’s always room on my #MSWL for:
- unapologetically self-indulgent, diverse #YA
- YA historical fiction, mystery, & fantasy
- YA contemporary, either dark & spine-tingly or warm & lighthearted

I LOVE Fantasy (Urban, Contemporary, Epic, the whole wazoo). Give me lush worlds, fabulous magic systems, diverse and deep cultures. I'd love to see these also grappling with environmental issues or disability/mental health #MSWL

Contemporary YA! Especially commercial and high concept YA that can be pitched as x meets y. Especially especially a rom com. The next TO ALL THE BOYS I'VE LOVED BEFORE, a younger RED, WHITE, & ROYAL BLUE, etc. Diverse voices!

Additionally, give me body diversity in all genres! I love stories that are not centered on bodies; characters can fall in love, save the world, and do anything in every size and shape! #YA #MSWL
